1. FINDING – free tool online for “funk-i-fying” your photos. Played around with four photos of myself this morning…. Really, really easy to use. And free. Got that? FrEe! I like it better than Flickr’s Picnic. So, I played around with:
- the photo of me from January this year that is probably one of the best I’ve ever taken (me: NOT photogenic)…
- …and in the interest of blog-honesty (following my cute friend’s cue at Humming Right Along) I included a first-thing-in-the-morning-coffee grunge shot.
- Next is a quick-pic Matt took of me in the kitchen last year using the Gouache effect. (This is probably the closest “real-me” – in the kitchen, hair tucked behind my ears, no make-up, and glasses on my head!
- Finally, a photo at least two years old taken at a local Mexican restaurant. I’m a good bit heavier here and I don’t like my hair so short, but it was a special dinner with special friends. This one I used the Line Artopia effect.
2. LOVING – this man! Our late Valentine’s dinner photo. 25+ Valentines Days! Wow!
3. READING – Margaret Atwood’s Robber Bride. Ok, so I’m getting a little worried. I’m truly struggling with reading. Yes, ME!! Nothing is grabbing me, nothing is keeping my attention, I find myself reading and rereading the same sentences over and over again. Bleh. I got a little panicked yesterday thinking my brain must really be turning to mush so I grabbed a Margaret Atwood novel to see if that would provide some relief. She’s one of my favorites and her writing always inspires and her stories always grab me. I hope this works!
4. WATCHING – Now that I’ve finally finished Lost (and loved, loved, LOVED it!) I’m looking for another series to watch, hopefully not quite so intently. It’s great to have something to watch while crocheting or doing some other type of handwork. The Boy suggested Prison Break or White Collar. The Girl suggested Lie to Me. Any suggestions out there?
Hope you had a wonderful Sabbath Day, bloggy friends!

2 Buzzes...What do YOU think?:
B, I feel your pain with the reading thing. And, honestly, it makes me worry much less about myself to here it's happening to YOU, of. all. people!
In trying to analyze myself, all I can come up with, besides age / menapause, is the internet effect. I think all this surfing, facebook, pinterest flitting around has given me the attention span of a gnat.
I haven't gotten gripped by another series yet
Miss you and Sondie. We need to have a gal time meetup soon!
Pushing Up Daisies, Burn Notice, and of course NCIS
