I missed out on last week's word: braid since we were in DC. But this week I'm in over at Mary's with the word balance. Check out her place for more entries. I hosted weekWORD a while back and chose this very same word! It's a great word to ponder. It's seems to be something we are all always searching for.
I think I'm still trying to find my balance. But, as I get older, I'm getting a little more steady on my feet.... understanding who I am in Christ, who this woman is exactly that God has created... and figuring out how best to walk out this short time on earth I've been given.
And part of that "figuring out" is exploring my creativity! And I'm having a blast!! I doodled this little fella in an all day meeting on Wednesday. He's got a few brothers and sisters that I'll be posting soon as part of a Drawing Lab assignment. Have a wonderfully balanced Friday, bloggy friends!

Your little fella looked balanced! And belief can certainly help make one feel balanced!!!!!
Thank you for playing along (Sorry I chose the same word, I didn't know.)
Actually I think you made a very good point there. Age. I like getting older. Exactly as you say it: more steady on my feet!
I think this little guy is adorable and I enjoyed your post. :-) I have a feeling I look a lot like him most days.
I really like your little fluffy guy. You have an interesting take on balance. I hope I continue to feel increasingly steady as the years roll on. Just waiting for that feeling to kick in.
You've made me hopeful!
he's so fluffy & cute... is he looking toward the heavens?
my fluffy guy (if I was able to draw) would be "cross-eyed" due to trying to do too much... way out of balance, I'm afraid...
isn't it odd that as we get older (& supposedly wiser), we tend to think we can keep as many balls in the air as we did when we were younger! I get frustrated when I realize that I'm tired! but, then I think - "whoa... how great that I can be tired & recognize I can do something about it"... and say, "oh, I'm feeling my age today!"
I've done that since I turned 60...
