Seven on Saturday

Seven things from my Saturday:

1. A good friend brought me breakfast and hung out for the day....including taking a nap with me on the porch and helping me with #5 below. Thanks!

2. I dyed my hair "Medium Ash Brown" to cover up the ever encroaching gray. :-<

3. Matt bought a flat screen, HD, hang-on-the-wall TV. He's held off for quite some time. I've been very proud of him...but he just couldn't stand it anymore! My birthday was a great excuse for him to go ahead and get it. (See #5 below.)

4. I'm reading a really great book on the history of cancer. (One in Three by Adam Wishart) Yes, I am a dork. But it's soooo good.

5. Matt decided for my birthday to give me a LIBRARY! Really...no kidding. He put the new TV (see #3 above) in the front living room and moved all "my" furniture (Queen chair, book shelves, writing table, etc.) into the smaller living room with the fireplace. So, now I have my very own private writing/library! The TV, computer, piano are all in the other living room...of course, I will still be sharing my space, but it's a little more cozy and private. I love it! Thanks, Curious!!

6. So...my library is all set up...thanks to good friends giving a hand....BUT the other living room is pretty much in need of lots and lots of help. And of course, I didn't get any housework done. Sigh. I have one pair of clean underwear left!

7. I managed to stay in my PJs all day. A success, I think.
