Thrum - \ˈthrəm\- noun - A term for fringe or short lengths of materials which suggest fringe. Specifically, the end of warp which is not woven but remains on the loom when the woven fabric has been cut free.
Thrum Thursday: looking at the "margins" of my life and seeing how to make pretty "fringe" out of it.
Since the word 'thrum' is a weaving word, I thought this word-association game would be a good post for today. I'm feeling out of sorts, harried, missing my friend who I can't get to answer the phone!), and disconnected. It's been a busy and somewhat stressful week at both work and home. So - maybe doing this game (called "Unconcious Mutterings", I think) will help get all my loose threads tucked back in. Hmmm...who knows?
